Website Updates
7/24/14 - It's been a super busy summer! Convention season is finally winding down, and I'll finally have time to get through my backlog of photos to post. Starting with one gallery I just got up today - the Minotaurus from the Monster Girl Encyclopedia!
6/11/14 - I'm off to Denver Comic Con this weekend and am SO excited! I'll be debuting a brand new costume I've been wanting to make for forever - Wonder Woman!
4/28/14 - It's almost Starfest time! I love this con so much, it's like a little mini Dragon Con. Hope to see you there! ^_^
2/1/14 - Oooooo, a brand new convention season is coming up! ^_^ I've updated my travel schedule accordingly.
8/6/13 - There's a new costume up in my Original Designs gallery - my maid outfit. Ooo la la! ^_- You can see pictures here.
6/3/13 - Whew! May was insane with both Fanime and Denver Comic Con back to back. I'm so exhausted! It'll be nice to have a small break before I attend Dragon Con this fall. I've got a lot of catching up to do here as my Guestbook is currently broken and needs reinstalled, and also because I have lots of photos to post!

4/30/13 - Aaaaah costume crunch time! Lol. Fanime and Denver Comic Con are back to back this year and I am super busy making new costumes! Can't wait to share pictures. ^_^
3/8/13 - My 2013 cosplay and convention plans are up! Check them out here. Convention season is winding up into full swing, so I'm gonna be a busy little bee for the next several months!
2/4/13 - Cosplay season is starting up, and I have some exciting news! ^_^ I've been asked to be a cosplay guest at Galaxy Fest in Colorado Springs. If you're local, be sure to come by and say hello as I'll be judging the costume masquerade and possibly doing a costume panel as well!
12/2/12 - The 2012 cenvention season has pretty much ended for me, and I'm working on my plans for next year. This year wasn't the best for me as a lot of real life stuff got in the way, and my finances and free time had to be carefully managed while my hobbies were put on the back burner.
2013 is going to be much more exciting though, as things are much better now, and in addition to some new things I'm working on and more conventions I have planned, I've vowed to bring my cosplay website up to date! So watch for a lot of new costume galleries being posted in the spring.
6/21/12 - Denver Comic Con was so much fun! I didn't get many photos since there was so much to do, but I debuted a new costume - Deedlit from Record of Lodoss Wars. :) For a first year convention it was very well organized and well ran, and I can't wait to go back next year!
5/30/12 - Goodness, it's been so long since I've updated! I've had a lot of real life stuff come up lately that's kept me from having much free time or creativity. My grandmother, who raised me from birth, passed away at the beginning of the year, which hit me hard. I've also managed to escape a toxic relationship and am busy enjoying my freedom!
I'm doing much better now though, and am enjoying myself more than ever! Fanime has come and gone, and I had so very much fun! ^_^ I'm eagerly looking forward to my next big convention and working on costumes again already.
12/20/11 - My Etsy store is up and running! I currently have a few things listed for sale so check it out at www.etsy.com/shop/cosplaykitten. I've also updated the store link on my website.
11/21/11 - I have finally got pictures taken and uploaded to the website for Rin Tohsaka from Fate/Stay Night! It only took me like five years, lol. You can see them here!

10/6/11 - I haven't had much time for cosplay lately, hence the lack of updates; such is the responsibility of having a career to pay for conventions and costume supplies, lol!
I've been spending what free time I have going through and repairing old costume stuff, and trying to get photoshoots done of the nearly two dozen costumes I have yet to add to the website. I've been very prolific over the past few years in making things, but am also very picky about my photos and very rarely do shoots at conventions when I've actually got the things on. =/
I do have some good news though - I have a new gallery up in the Video Game section! I didn't make this costume, but was lucky enough to get to model it for a friend. Check it out here - Styria & Nix from Final Fantasy XIII!
6/28/11 - Anime Expo is this weekend! I'll be debuting a new costume there...Rider from Fate/Stay Night. Look for our group, it's going to be huge! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend and travels safely. :-)
5/25/11 - I'm off to Fanime, and will be re-wearing some old favorites...Celes Chere and Pirotess. I'll be a part of two respective cosplay groups and can't wait for the con!
3/31/11 - See you all at Wondercon! I'll be taking my Phoenix costume and maybe a few other things as well. ^_^
1/6/11 - I'm off to Sac Anime, where I'll be judging the masquerade. Hope to see some of you there!

7/15/10 - Gosh I've been so busy these past few months I haven't had time to update! With Fanime, Sac-Con, and Anime Expo all in a row there's been no time to catch up online. But now that I've got a little time before Dragon Con, I'll be updating soon with new galleries for several new costumes I made, so please visit again soon!
5/26/10 - Heading out to Fanime tomorrow! I'm super excited, as I'll be debuting two new costumes and wearing a few old favorites as well. My costume schedule is posted in my journal here!
4/5/10 - Whew, what a whirlwind these past few months have been! I haven't had a lot of time to work on adding new content just yet, because grand costume plans have been taking priority! I've also been super busy with conventions. I actually just got back from Wondercon this past weekend, and now I've got to get ready for Anaheim Comic Con, which is just a few weeks away!
I'm not complaining though, it's good to be going full steam ahead. ^_^

2/16/10 - Come see me at the LeBasse Projects Gallery for Amano night on February 20th! I'll be working the event as a costumed hostess in my Celes Chere costume, and there will be lots of lovely artwork by Yoshitaka Amano on display. You can find all the information here!
1/25/10 - I am ashamed to say that I slacked off quite a bit in updating Cosplay Kitten during 2009. It was a very busy year; I graduated from college in December '08, moved to Los Angeles at the end of March '09, and have spent much of my 2009 settling down in my new home in sunny California, getting established career-wise, and exploring my new turf and making new friends. ^_^
But now that "real life" has settled into some semblance of order, I have lots of creative plans for 2010! I fell into a trap of making more costumes than I could keep up with, so I am focusing on getting galleries up of over a dozen new things! I'm also going to redo some shoots of some of my older costumes, and do more modeling work as well. So expect LOTS of new content in the next few months!
I am also adding some new sections to my website, including videos and press coverage, a schedule of my future appearances, and most importantly, an online store where both ready to wear and custom made items can be purchased. So please be patient with the construction and updates, and be sure to keep an eye out for new content! :D
7/2/09 - It's been a while since I updated, because I've been super busy with my move to California, my awesome new job working on film costumes, and making a ton of new costumes! But I promise an update is coming soon. I have lots of content to add, I just need the time to do it! X_x

5/14/08 - I've been a bit on hiatus for a while due to finishing up school, so I apologize for the lack of updates! I've got one class left to finish though and I'm already tasting my freedom and making some big cosplay and convention plans, as well as plans for some changes to this website, which I'll be announcing soon.
In the meantime, I'm off to Anime Central in Chicago, Illinois! I'll be around the convention and judging the Masquerade, so if you're there, be sure to say hi!

11/6/07 - As mentioned in my last post, I have a big announcement to make! I'm proud to say that I am now modeling for Shuttergirls, a pin-up and cosplay themed website. It's been a long time in the works, and I'm thrilled about this new opportunity. ^_^ You can see my very first set for them in my modeling gallery here.
10/16/07 - A new costume gallery is up! I've added pictures of my Jessica Rabbit costume to Cosplay Kitten. You can see them here. I'll also have a big announcement to make very shortly! I've been very busy behind the scenes with my modeling work, and it's finally paying off! ^_^
9/9/07 - I'm back from Dragon Con! It was the most amazing, awsome convention I have ever been to. I'm sold on it for life. ^_^
Sorry I've been out of touch lately. Things have been super busy, and I haven't had much time to be online or update this website! But now that cosplay stuff has settled down a little bit, I promise to get some things caught up. I've got lots of new costume galleries to add, including Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Tyris Flare from Golden Axe, Cheetara from Thundercats, and that special heroine I mentioned in my last update...Taarna, the last Terrakian, from Heavy Metal. I've also got some modeling galleries to add as well as some personal pictures from Katsucon and Dragon Con, so be sure to check back!
7/17/07 - Dragon Con is fast approaching, and I'm so excited! I have so many costume plans for this convention, including a very secret surprise that pays tribute to a heroine I've had ever since I was a wee little girl. I've still got lots of sewing to do, but I'm going to have quite an array of things to wear!

12/10/06 - I've added a new gallery to the modeling section! The photoshoot involved a rather "gothy" look, which is very different for me, but I think it worked well. Check it out here.
10/30/06 - Yay! I'm back, just in time for Halloween. ^_^
Cosplay Kitten is now back up and running, and lots of things have changed. I've gotten a new hosting plan, added several new costume galleries, made a new layout, added a section for my modeling work, have new photos of almost all my costumes, and there are lots of other things to see too! So be sure to check everything out, as almost all my content has changed.

7/10/06 - Wow. Anime Expo was awesome! Best con ever, hands down. It was huge, it was exciting, and it was full of cosplay goodness. ^_^

6/27/06 - Anime Expo is fast approaching, and I leave in just a few days! I'm so excited! ^_^ I'll be wearing a few old costumes, and also debuting three new ones. Lots of stuff is planned, and AX is going to be a blast. If any of you are going to be there, don't be afraid to stop me and say hello if you see me! I don't bite and I love meeting new people. XD
When I get back from Anime Expo, Cosplay Kitten is going to be getting a HUGE update! I have several new costumes and galleries to add, so stay tuned!
5/10/2006 - Well, I'm back from Anime Central! It was a great time for me; I debuted my new Darkstalkers Felicia costume on Friday, and my guy wore the Ryu Bateson costume I made for him on Saturday to go with my Katt cosplay. It was so much fun! Best of all though was the wonderful suprise I got when my Katt costume was awarded a Craftsmanship Merit Award in the masquerade. I now have a lovely glass trophy sitting proudly in the middle of my Nyanko foodkitty collection! :D
I should have pictures up sometime in the near future, but it might be awhile, because now I get to start making costumes for Anime Expo in July, yippee!
5/03/06 - I've just finished two new costumes, Felicia from Darkstalkers, and Ryu Bateson from Breath of Fire 2! Both of them will be debuted this weekend at Anime Central, and picture galleries will be up soon!
